Hello, trying to install plexserver on 9.3. Had it installed once but had problem and deleted it to try again. Now it will not install and I get the Message Middleware.exception:38 Middleware Error: unable to find templet.

It starts the dowload and jumps to 3/4 installing jail and then nothing. I don't have any data on system yet so a re-install won't be to bad if I can't find the templet.

Thanks

Reinstalling has nothing to do work data (which would still be on your zpool). It just would mean reconfiguring everything from scratch.

I don't recommend reinstalling, probably won't change anything. a lot of people have been posting similar issues so I'm guessing it's a bug with the current commit of freenas.

Thanks for the info, but wouldn't a reinstall of FreeNAS repopulate any missing files that are missing?

missing files on your boot media, or system/plugins dataset?
If you think there's issues with your boot media (the FreeNAS OS), you can verify it which will fix any issues.

I suspect this is a bug because I've seen several similar posts lately, which is why I suggest you check bugs.freenas.org.

Just tried another plugin and it will not install either. So it's not PlexServer it's all the plugins.
How do I get started looking for a bug fix @ bugs.freenas.org?

Thanks

that site is reporting bugs. Report/find the bug, then wok with the developer to get it fixed. then install the update wants it's available.

I had the same problem. Turns out all I had to do was try installing it on a different computer. It was my first plugin that I had to install and it wasn't installing properly. Once I had downloaded plex I could download other plugins easily on my good computer.
