I installed 9.2.1.2 single xeon supermicro mb with a Areca 24 Drive controller and 24 sata drives.
Ran fine for a few days, did not like the onboard nic's so I put in a 4 port intel card.
What was happening is the interface would show down on the monitor would work and then not work.

The new intel card seems to be better ran it for a few days and seems ok.. so I started putting some data on it. (running about 3 weeks now)
I added the plexmedia plugin and started to add movies MP4 and Music files MP3

now today I go to launch the gui (webpage) and it won't come up I launched the NAS GUI and it comes up.
Plex is running according to jail, tried to change IP start and stop makes no difference.. so I re-booted.

Then the NAS and plex webpage won't come up... re-booted a few more times and now the nas web is back up but still no plex webpage.

I get the great big Yellow Arrow and nothing else... What is going on? Is this a BUG or a permission issue? I don't see why permissions would all of a sudden come into play.

Any ideas...? Plex plugin is the latest show and no upgrade available 0.9.9.5.411_1
I am not sure where to check or what is now wrong...
system seems to be working but no GUI for Plex

Show down? Wha?

now today I go to launch the gui (webpage) and it won't come up I launched the NAS GUI and it comes up.

So it both works and doesn't work at the same time? The "gui (webpage) and the "NAS GUI" are the same damn thing.. so how does it not come up and come up? WHAT?

Plex is running according to jail, tried to change IP start and stop makes no difference.. so I re-booted.

And why are you trying to change the jail IP?

At this point I'll stop because your post is so excruciatingly incoherent I can't make heads or tails of what you are trying to say. I can't figure out if you are even talking about a problem or not, what your problem is or isn't, or if you are just saying hello. Your sentence structure confuses me! And I'm the king of half-ass sentences around here. ;)

its not really confusing at all.. I was explaining that these are the issue I have had since install 3 weeks ago
1) the new build does not like the supermicro nic cards - intermittent (it would show down even after reboot when nic cable was plugged in) so I installed an Intel 4 Port Server nic

now things have been working ok wiht the intel nic until today
2) the webgui (web browser) for NAS is at 192.168.1.5
3) The webgui for Plexmedia server is at 192.168.1.6:4320
Diff address and diff port - so NOT SAME thing... :)

I get "This page can’t be displayed" even though I can ping the server at 192.168.1.5
I reboot once or twice and then the NAS gui works at 192.168.1.5 but the plex media web gui at 192.168.1.6 is still not working.

Things have been working fine, server has been running 24x7... but today webpages won't load, if I re-boot then I can get into the NAS gui but plex no matter what I do will not come up.
I think this may be related to the other postings, but im not an expert with FreeNAS or FreeBSD... so was looking for some help to find out why the wepages are suddenly not working.

Anything related in /var/log/messages?

Is a DNS server set in Network -> Global Configuration?
