Plex down after upgrade from 11.2 U-6 to U-7

I updated yesterday, and now unable to access Plex. I tried restarting the Jail/Plex plugin. I tried booting back to U-6, but still no luck. FreeNAS appears to be working well, I can access everything just fine. Plex is my only plugin, so no way to check if it's only Plex. Before I uninstall Plex and do a fresh install, I thought I'd ask. (current version of Plex is 11.2 Release-p6)

Cheers

I had the same problem last night when I upgraded, except that I did get Plex started back up. I had the go in and try to r estart plex, which didn't work initially and the plugin eventually showed a stopped state. I was then able to start it and it ran normally. It didn't auto-launch the way it normally does when the NAS boots. I have not spent enough time looking into it to have an answer about why, but I did get it running. You might want to try it agani and hopefully more people will chime in with their experience.

Thanks Chris, I tried multiple times with no luck. Undating, stopping/starting, reboot FreeNAS, etc). My status says "up", but I can't connect to management or the Plex palyer.

Is your Plex install one of the old Warden jails or is it one of the new IOCage jails?

I would suggest opening a bug report on this. It may be something the development team needs to look into.

When you try to connect to Plex, what happens? Do you get an error message?

To be clear, you updated from 11.2-U6 to 11.2-U7? The system description in your signature says 11.1-U1.

Did you originally install the Plex plugin, or is it a manual installation? From the GUI, please provide screenshots of the jails "Basic Properties" and "Network Properties". We can start there.

It is unlikely that you will need to reinstall Plex. Don't be in a hurry to "nuke" everything.

Yes on the update. from 11.2-U6 to 11.2-U7..my signature isn't up to date. I have always used the plugin from the GUI for install, not manual. Too late, I already reinstalled and am up and running. Sorry....no patience.... :)
