I have done some searching and haven't found what I'm looking for.
I want to back up the database and config for plex because every time I upgrade the plugin it fails for some reason or another and I have to start over with my editing.
All I need to know is what files/paths do I need to backup before I upgrade plex so if it fails again I can just copy them back into the jail and still have my database.
Thank you much.

My post here should hopefully be what you're lookign for.

The path freeNAS uses in the plugin jail isn't the same as the default locations for vanilla freebsd/linux instances discussed on the plex forums ( which is typically "/var/lib/plexmediaserver/Library/Application Support/...")
Thank you very much that is what I needed. I'm actually going to be using the cron scrip from now on too.
