Hi, I start saying that I'm crazy and I like to test the power of my system and this is an extreme situation.
I have just downloaded a native 4K (~60 Mbps for 60 GB) and an upscaled 4K (~18 Mbps for 15 GB) files, the files are now in my PMS. If i try to play (with transcoding) the upscaled one I can reach 5 times of co-reproduction without problem, the CPU usage is around 70-80% and system load (1 min) is 20.00 and the RAM is used for 2GB for reproduction (~10GB) and I think that my configuration can manage 2 more reproduction but I haven't enough RAM.
When I try to reproduce the native one if I play it from iPhones also two it's work very fine. If I launch a SINGLE repro from my Mac or from my PS4 (same setting from the trasconding [20mbps 1080p]) is not fluid and is the same with 2 co-repro. Why I have this problem? As you can see my hardware is not under super heavy load is all around 70-80% (the peaks are when I have started the second reproduction)
Somebody can explain to me why? :)
