SOLVED pkg search php71 not found

pkg search php71 does not find any pkgs.

I ran this from a FreeNAS (11.1-U1) jail. Is this to be expected?

Yes.

What's strange is that I do not have this problem in any other jail.

It seems that my jail was actually running FreeBSD 9.3 even though uname -a showed differently. I've now recreated the jail and the problem has disappeared
