My NAS recently crashed.
I wanted to diagnose the crash but noticed, that the (relevant) logfiles under /var/log get deleted.
/var/log/ is a symlink to /var/db/system which is mounted from the boot pool.
Is there any way to access the pre-crash logs or to setup syslog-ng in a way which lets me review the files after reboots?
I know that I could setup a syslog server but I had hoped that there's an easier, local way.
