Well guys; I'm bit hopeless for the moment as I'm not sure what is the reason that I can't any longer mount my freenas drive.
I did the following so far:

  1. Created /mount/RAID1
  2. Created /mount/RAID1/Data
  3. Created /mount/RAID1/Data/owncloud (owner/usergroup is www)
  4. Created /mount/RAID1/Media/Movie (owner:root; group: wheel)
  5. Created /mount/RAID1/Media/Music (owner:root; group: wheel)
  6. Created /mount/RAID1/Media/Pictures (owner:root; group: wheel)
Then I created some NFS shares:

  1. Data
  2. Maproot group (N/A)
  3. Mapall user (root)
  4. Path: /mnt/RAID1/Data/owncloud
  5. Media:
  6. Maproot group (N/A)
  7. Mapall user (root)
  8. Path: /mnt/RAID1/Media
Do I have to create users for each of them which I like to get to the freenas, I have 3 users so far and would like to mount each of them into Ubuntu. I wrote the tutorial several times but I can't fix that task yet.

Anybody out there who can help me to fix that task, I can't really use Freenas yet as I can't get access to the box.

Do you get an error when you try to mount the shares on the Ubuntu system? If so, post the command you are using and the resulting error.
