Hallo liebe deutschsprachige FreeNAS-Community!
Ich bin neu hier im Forum, "experimentiere" aber schon über ein Jahr mit FreeNAS rum.
Als jetzt die Nutzung von FreeNAS immer mehr und die Projekte ernster wurden, habe ich mir daher besser Hardware zugelegt. Leider habe ich seitdem einen Geschwindigkeitsverlust von ca. 20 Prozent. Zur besseren Nachvollziehbarkeit deshalb erstmal mein alter Setup, der so ohne Probleme über 1/2 Jahr lief:
- ASROCK B85M PRO4
- 1x 8GB Corsair Vengeance DDR3 Ram (PC1600, 16GB, CL9)
- Intel i3 4160T
- 5x Seagate Barracuda ST3000DM001 (3TB)
- KINGSTON SSD for the FreeNAS OS
Mit Hilfe von Crystal Disk Mark konnte ich für den alten Setup Geschwindigkeiten von ~>110MBytes/s ermitteln.

Test : 100 MB [Z: 0.0% (0.0/10797.0 GB)] (x9)

Nachdem ich mich mehr mit FreeNAS beschäftigt hatte, bin ich auf ein ECC fähiges System umgestiegen. Konkret musste ich Mainboard und RAM wechseln, der neue Server hatte also folgende Komponenten:
- ASROCK E3C226D2I
- 2x 8GB Kingston ValueRAM - DDR3 - 8 GB - DIMM 240-PIN - 1600 MHz / PC3-12800 - CL11
- Intel i3 4160T
- 5x Seagate Barracuda ST3000DM001 (3TB)
- KINGSTON SSD for the FreeNAS OS
Das große Problem ist, dass nach Wechsel von Mainboard + ECC die Übertragungsgeschwindigkeit massiv einbrach! Die folgenden Geschwindigkeiten stammen wieder aus Tests mit Crystal DM:

Random Read 4KB (QD=32) : 88.400 MB/s [ 21582.0 IOPS]
Random Write 4KB (QD=32) : 88.580 MB/s [ 21626.0 IOPS]
Test : 100 MB [N: 0.0% (0.0/10797.0 GB)] (x9)

Die Konfiguration und Version von FreeNAS war in beiden Fällen identisch oder ähnlich. Es wurden nur absolute 'basics' eingestellt (Nutzer/Gruppe, Volume, Dataset, CIFS).
