Hey,
After some tweaking and testing I found one problem I can't seem to fix because I don't know what excactly is causing this issue.
Right now I got a zfs server running with 49GB RAM and 23TB raid10 storage with an SSD acting as cache and one acting as log.
for some reason, if I test IOmeter using a disc that's smaller then the amount of RAM in the server, the speed is blazing fast (limited by the 1gbps connection), but as soon as I exceed the amount of RAM, the response times go through the roof (7-900) and the IOPS drop to 90ish
does anyone have any idea what caused this? Before I could get about 70% of the line filled on the bigger drives, but now it's just terrible.
