I have two "45 drive" boxes each running FreeNAS-9.3-STABLE-201506222346.
So far I am only run a few disks in each.
Most of the work I am doing with these is being done in the expected manner.
But I have one feature eI am trying to kludge my way through …..
And here is where I go off the rails and hope to have some help anyway.
On each system:
I have pair of disks I have configured as a geom raid1.
which I have configured to replicate as a HAST volume.
I have created a zpool on the primary side (left), I can import the pool using the GUI.
I can share out NFS from this pool, again using the GUI. this all works happily.
I then:
politely dismount and export the pool.
change the left system to HAST to secondary and set the right system to primary
The device shows as complete in hastctl status.
I then use the GUI on right to import the pool.
I can mount it, I can manipulate permissions, I can see files created …. filesystem looks happy.
When I try to share NFS, I am hit with" Paths for a NFS share must reside within the same filesystem"
in the GUI ……
I have tried hanging the mount point in existing NFS exports, and assorted stooopid link tricks.
