Passing --manage-gids option to nfsuserd

Hi,

I need to pass this option to nfsuserd to bypass the 16 group limit of the sys_auth mechanism. I'm running freenas 9.2 and my nfsuserd command doesnt seem to support the --manage-gids flags. However the freebsd manpage of nfsuserd https://www.freebsd.org/cgi/man.cgi?nfsuserd(8) includes the manage-gids option.

I've found this kernel patch https://reviews.freebsd.org/D4172?id=10217 but don't feel very confident to apply this patch in my freenas installation.
I'm also planning to upgrade freenas to 9.3.

Is this option included in the freenas 9.3? What is the preffered way to run nfsuserd with the manage gids flag?

Why are you planning on updating to a long-unsupported version and not something newer?
