HI,

I'm looking around the website and wonder if there is a PDF version of the documentation we can have.

Last time I lost my internet home and I was reading about the raid section and I had to wait until the internet came back.

Thanks

See my signature for PDF copies of the documentation.

I don't have the latest 11.2 version for the new GUI yet (I do have one for the classic GUI). I tried to build it recently and discovered I need new dependencies.

Thank you very much.

Which software are you using?
And did you copy/paste all pages??

Wow very good job.

I followed the official documentation for building the documentation. See: https://github.com/freenas/freenas-docs

I have a FreeBSD VM (virtual machine) for building the documentation. I run a script and it builds the files. Recently, my script crashed when I tried to create the Angular GUI version. At a minimum, I need to add additional fonts to my environment, but haven't tackled that yet. I hope to work on it next weekend.

I prefer the PDF documentation and began offering it as a convenience to the FreeNAS community.

Have you seen this? It looks like the downloadable PDF documentation may be part of 11.2

After installing FreeBSD 11.2 this morning, I was able to build FreeNAS 11.2 RC2 PDF's for both the legacy and angular GUI's.

I hope to work on it next weekend.
