Dear all,
I managed to install Bacula in a jail to process all my backup. It's working pretty good so far, but I could use your insight to deal with offsite backup. I've been using Duplicati so far, allowing me to manage backup sets hosted on an external SSH server. I don't really know what could be the best approach when using Bacula. Looks Bacula does not permit to backup on an SFTP storage. I imagine several options but not sure whether yes or no they are valid...
- Use of rsnapshot, with cloning Bacula volumes offsite ? But what happens in case of a restoration, I would need to copy back all the volumes first before being able to restore the file ...
- Use of sshfs ? Appears to be the best option, mount the fs before the backup and unmount it just after...
How would you do that?
Cheers,
R.
