Hello,

I recently plugged my FreeNAS server back in after not using for a number of years. Everything about my network is different.

I am running 9.10.2-U3
I have a Ubiquiti Dreammachine router
I am running windows 10 pro

I am able to see the FreeNAS screen when I browse to its IP address.

Unfortunately, I cannot see my freenas server in "network" or find it by server name. The ubiquiti router sees it.

thank you for any help,

That network browser has always been a hit or miss to me. Use either IP address or setup a DNS override either through your router or a local hosts file. It's way more reliable.

thank you for the reply. It is working now. I let it sit on the network for a couple of hours and then tried to remap a drive and it worked! :)
