Noob Rsync questions

Ok, so I'm trying to do something basic with Rsync. I have a linux box with a security camera attached to it. It takes pictures based on motion and I have my FreeNAS.

I want to set up Rysnc on the FreeNAS to "pull" the data from the linux box to my freenas.

I'm running FreeNAS 8.0.1-BETA3 AMD64, but I read that "pulling" data wasn't possible yet, just "pushing". Is this accurate?

Not sure about the rsync, but if you can create a script that does whatever is needed to do the pulling you can run that as a cronjob on the FreeNas.
