Okay first off let me start by saying I am a seasoned veteran I've been using freenas now for about 3 and 1/2 close to 4 years with no trouble at all that being said let me give you my system details I am running a poweredge 2950 with a custom Nvidia graphics card 3 terabyte of hard drive space in a raid 5 configuration alongside that is 32GB of RAM I am also running a Dell powerconnect switch which goes to a sagemcom router and wines up going into a Arris modem. Now the way my system is configured I am running a Windows 10 Pro setup with freenas residing in a virtual machine under VMware everything was working perfectly fine until I moved into a different County when I went to set it up I cannot get a web GUI at all I have it statically assigned I have tried replacing cables I've tried replacing the switch I have checked the forts I have done everything that I can possibly think of to get this thing working again and now I'm almost completely out of options my ifconfig looks perfect there's no flaws in it no errors everything looks good I'm actually just looking at the network adapter on my virtual machine and am wondering if I change that could that affect anything right now it's on vmnet 2 as a custom I'm wondering if I set that to vmnet 0 if that could help with the problem I'm having the one other thing that I did notice is that it seems as though my operating system is detecting the virtual machine nics but it seems to be not giving an address so if anybody has any ideas I'm open to suggestions

Update. I guess it was the NAT in the VM that got messed up because I switched it to Nat and it went through perfectly fine
