I installed FreeNAS-8.0.3-RELEASE-p1-x64 (9591) from CD. DHCP provided a default address and I am able to access the GUI. I would like to change this and move the NAS onto my management network that does not use DHCP. I have specified an IP, Gateway, and DNS but can no longer access the GUI. When I reset the device to DHCP I can access it again. I am really confused, and help would be GREAT!

Hm, try rebooting the machine from console after configuring the static ip address, might be some bug to dhclient not exiting or the network driver... i guess :p

Can you ping, SSH in? Is it just the WebGUI that you cannot reach?

If so paste output of sockstat -4|grep 80

I did not change anything just left the nas alone all day, and now I can access the gui from the 115.38 address. I do not know why, but it works now. Thanks for your help
