I'm running 9.3. I see two possible trains; Nightlies and Beta. What is the difference between the two trains?

I'm tried to post this in the noob section, but my post keeps disappearing and I don't even know why.

9.3-Nightlies is automated, twice a day, no human intervention involved, and therefore may or may not be in good shape depending on what is happening at those intervals. 9.3-BETA is updated manually and will become 9.3-STABLE after release and will have cherry-picked, carefully gated fixes go into it.

Your post probably got removed from the noob section because you are using the beta which noobs shouldn't be using because it isn't stable...

Hey! I put my finger into the air very carefully and test the wind for direction, speed, relative humidity and laminar flow over the ground. Then I say "oh what the hell, time to roll a BETA update!" and various things break. This will get better with -RELEASE, which is when we're actually going to branch the source repos and start putting QA into the decision loop on whether or not a change makes it into that update branch. Until then, it's a bit wild-west, I admit...
