I see that if you set nfsv3, you can have a single user/group for all files.
On a QNAP, an nfs mount of their disk, lets you set uid/gid for files and folders. Why is that not possible on a freenas nfs mount?
[root@centos6 disk]# chown 1031:1001 a.a
chown: changing ownership of `a.a': Operation not permitted
