Hey all!
I have only seen posts about sync writes for ESIX causing slow file / vm speeds. But (unless i missed something) I haven't seen one just for file storage.
I have a Linux Desktop connected to FreeNAS using an NFS share and the writes are super slow. I disabled sync writes as a test and that helped the speed out a bunch. Do I need to have sync writes enabled for just file storage?
FreeNAS 11
Raid Z
3x 3TB WD RED
Thanks,
Shawn.
