NFS - Secondary NIC - RPC Timeout

I am trying to work through a problem where NFS times out when using the second NIC with the following error:
nfs mount: 192.168.250.189: : RPC: Timed out
nfs mount: retrying: /install


Could someone explain why this is the case, and perhaps provide a workaround for this? It only happens on the secondary NIC's IP, if I use the WAN IP I have no issues.

Actually, sorry about this. I finally dug up the problem here and it was DNS on a local network.

To fix this, I have temporarily added the DNS entries to my hosts file(will be adding proper DNS soon)
