Hi all,
I have set up nextcloud on freeNAS for a long time, the version is 14.0.6, the latest stable version. I got this issue back from nextcloud 12. This commonly happens on phones, not much on computer browsers.

Here is link that I found but I'm not sure if it applies to freeNAS: https://www.reddit.com/r/selfhosted...cloud_talk_randomly_disconnects_during_voice/

Do I need to setup some sort of STUN or TURN server to solve this?

Ref: https://help.nextcloud.com/t/howto-setup-nextcloud-talk-with-turn-server/30794

Thanks!

Hi,
I have installed a "coturn" package and all is working OK (on Nextcloud 18 + Talk).
I followed this HowTo to configure it: https://help.nextcloud.com/t/howto-setup-nextcloud-talk-with-turn-server/30794

p.s: I strongly suggest do not use old Nextcloud plugin but install fresh version (actually Nectcloud 18) in own jail,
I used this guide (just use nextcloud-php72 atleast, not 7.1):

Did you install coturn on your nextcloud instance or on your caddy reverse proxy instance?

I am running it on my nextcloud instance:
root@nextcloud:/ # ps aux | grep turn | grep -v grep
root 3350 0.0 0.1 47136 23628 - SsJ 4Mar20 13:00.36 /usr/local/bin/turnserver -o

p.s: just install it manually or it overwrite your actual db (mariadb in my case) with mysql....from my shell history:
wget http://pkg.freebsd.org/FreeBSD:11:amd64/latest/All/coturn-4.5.1.1_1.txz
he need this library to run:
/usr/local/lib/libmysqlclient.so.20
(extracted it from mysql57-client-5.7.29_1.txz)
