Just wanted to say hi to everyone. I'm a prospective FreeNAS user, looking to replace a 9yr old Win7Pro box running Plex & FTP servers with something a little more capable, with more disk capacity & redundancy then the software-mirrored 2TB drives it has (WD 5400rpm surveillance drives). Yeah... back in 2011 I was much more budget-constrained than I am today!
I'm hoping to learn a lot, as well as get some hardware recommendations & help when needed.
