I want to create a 12 Hot swapable NAS with the following case, I don't want to spend much. Can any one help me with the recommended parts needed.

Those are pretty sparse requirements. All you have is a case and the fact that you don't want to spend much. But what is "much" ? Some people spend $2000 - $2500 without blinking an eye. Some want it under $500 and some others might be willing to spend over $5000. Possibilities are endless.

What are your requirements in terms of FreeNAS? What do you want to do with it? Have you done the research on FreeNas and what it entails? RAIDZ? ZFS?

It seems you want us to do that for you.

I do Video and Audio editing I want a secure place to store that and movies/Photos that are used across my network, I have read and watched videos on ZFS and FreeNas, I have to say my budget would me 1500.00 Biggest concern is losing data due to ransomware.

Will you do the said Video and Audio editing on the FreeNAS machine itself or will you copy it over to your desktop/laptop and then after editing save it back on the FreeNAS? Those 2 options themselves require different components. One requires a very good processor, another requires good quality network/cards. Maybe a 10Gbit option.

Will you Plex? or just share movies and photos via NFS or SMB/CIFS?

When you talk about ransomware -- do you have something specific in mind? That job is not for FreeNAS. More so your router to keep the bad stuff out of your network.

No Editing is all done on my workstation the NAS will just store, said files, I would like to Plex, as far as ransomware I just don't want to lose any of the files on the NAS ie hostage, I use Comcast business for my ISP.

FreeNas won't help you avoid Ransomeware/network hopping viruses, but regular snapshots since they are read only can help you recover from a point before you got infected. Kinda makes ransomeware insignificant to your backups.
