Im new to Truenas and have just set up my server, I started to copy files onto the server then it has come up with these errors in the pool. They are brand new Iron Wolf drives, i have changed out the SATA cable multiple times and plugged it into a different SATA port on the motherboard.

Welcome to the forums!

I suggest that you stop what you are doing and run the drives through a burn in and testing process (if you didn't already do so - you didn't mention so I'm guessing that you didn't).. This will either provide you with confidence to put them into service or give you a solid foundation for a warranty claim on them.

There's a good process description in Uncle Fester's Guide - found here in the Resource Section: https://www.truenas.com/community/resources/uncle-festers-freenas-beginners-guide.120/

See its section 4c for the HDD validation method and detailed instructions.

Come back here and post the results of the various tests and we can help you decode any mysteries and provide comment.

If you just want to investigate ada2 "right now", follow the section in Fester's Guide about running the smartdrive tests on ada2 (also in 4c) and report the long tests results here in code tags.

The cable and ports swapping that you've already done should have eliminated those variables.

Also, for maximum help capability, please follow the Forum Rules page request for full hardware information posting: https://www.truenas.com/community/threads/forum-rules.45124/
