So, my motherboard recently died, got a new one, this one doesn't even let me into BIOS. It stays at the "System Initialising" forever....
These are the memory modules I am using CT102472BD160B which are listed on QVL so they should work, I have tried with all of the 4 modules in the A1 slot. No difference there.

So here is my question to you guys, after much thought and such I would suffice to find a Supermicro 2U-3U chassiw with 12 3.5 inch bays, that also supports beeing modified into 2.5 inch bays.

I am perfectly fine with buying used gear, but I'd like to know which chassis you guys would suggest so suite my needs.

Do you need help with troubleshooting the motherboard?

I have two of these chassis and I love them!
CSE 826E16 with 920w SuperQuiet PSUs
The chassis are used off eBay, my first one has x9scm-f | Xeon 1230 | M1015 SAS card.
The second has x11ssm-f | i3-6300 | LSI 9207 SAS

I had a 16 bay model, but got rid of it because it was too heavy for this old man
