Hi all
So truenas supports the card now, but have been having a few problems.
One machine direct connect gets 240MB/s, which is good enough for me.
I have problems with virtual machines that are attached to the NIC and need to communicate with each other.
In short, they cant. Pings between them are not happening. The firewall rules allow it.
It is between ubuntu server and windows 10, both virtualised in Truenas, where the issue is. Each machine is connected to it. Outside machines, with linux and windows allowing firewall access work fine.
A machine physically connected to the port can communicate with either. It is always connected and active.
Is there some network setting to change, tweak or tunable to add/change.
How is this fixed?
Thanks
