Network Backups

I am new to FreeNAS and just got my first server up and running. Everything is work on it, except I am unable to back my computers up to the FreeNAS server. I keep getting the error "The specified network location cannot be used" then it says "Verify the path points to a correct network location and that the supplied credentials can be used for write to the folder." It is up on AD and I can get in to the sever to add and delete files. How do i fix this so that I can back up computers to my FreeNAS? also i would like to know if anyone uses any third party soft ware to do the back up or if everyone likes using the Windows one?


I am running FreeNAS 9.3.

what backup program are you using and what version of windows?

I am trying to use the Windows backup tool. And the computers i am trying to back up are mostly Windows 7 and a few XP.
