I have a simple question, should it install FREENAS on a USB key?

Advantage? Disadvantage?

If the advantage is the gain of disk space .. if I install an ESXi and I create a partition for installation and for remaining storage. Is this the same ??
Then it saves me to have a USB key on the server ...

For info, it is for a server of my company with a storage of 4 to with a server Dell Poweredge r620

Pros: simple, easy to replace, it's how most people do it, saves a Sata port, mirroring can help with uptime.

Cons: they will fail sooner than a SSD, boot time is slower, upgrade time is slower.

Is English not your native language? It's really hard to understand some of your questions. If you can maybe spend a little more time trying to make it more clear what you want.
