Good day,
Running FreeNAS-8.0.4-RELEASE-x64 (10351) and I have 3, IBM 10i SAS controllers (They are rebranded LSI controllers).
With the LSI controller, the person who set it up made a JBOD disk for each single disk drive int he machine. Apparently, LSI controllers won't allow direct access to the unconfigured disks so this is the way it was done. So there are 24 disks in the machine with 8 drives connected to each of the 3 LSI controllers. Within FreeNAS, ther are 3 ZFS pools with 8 drives in each one.
So now, I have a failed drive in the server and I want to replace the drive... The way I understand it, I need to remove the drive in the Web interface to prepare it for the swap. Then, I need to replace the drive in the single disk JBOD array. The problem is, I can't figure out how to do this with mfiutil because I cannot for the life of me figure out how to select a different adapter with mfiutil.
Can anyone tell me with an example how I can do this?
If I do a show adapter, it only shows the first one:
[root@imr] ~# mfiutil show adapter
mfi0 Adapter:
Product Name: IBM ServeRAID-MR10is SAS/SATA Controller
Serial Number: L001292808
Firmware: 11.0.1-0014
RAID Levels: JBOD, RAID0, RAID1, RAID5, RAID6, RAID10, RAID50
Battery Backup: present
NVRAM: 32K
Onboard Memory: 256M
Minimum Stripe: 8K
Maximum Stripe: 1M

If anyone can help me out with this, I would very much appreciate the help.
