Hi,
I'd like to move to 10GB networking on my FreeNAS 11.2U6 but I cant' make it work...I always get No Carrier. I know now NC523SFP should be supported natively by FreeNAS and FreeBSD.
NIC is a HP NC523SFP Firmware ver. 4.20.1.1429931003.
What I've tried so far :
-tested both ports on the NIC
-Fixing the speed or leave it auto at both ends (NIC and Switch)
-Interchanging twinax cable with a known working one
-Tried 3 different swithes (Cisco Nexus 4001i, Brocade (Ruckus) ICX-7450 and ICX-7250)
When I run "ifconfig ql0 up" I can see with "dmesg | ql0" it goes down right away.
I'm out of ideas and ressources....my knowledge of FreeBSD is limited!
any help will be higly appreciated !
