NAS not showing up on Sony Blu-Ray Player.

I believe that this is an issue with the NAS not being a media device. I can view all other computers in my house on the Blu-Ray because they have been set up as media devices. Is there any way that I can configure my NAS to be a media device? Or is there a setting on the Blu-Ray that I need to change?

You need a plugin like miniDLNA or Serviio. FreeNAS doesn't include a DLNA server by default.
