Hello Everyone,
First time poster; definitely a NAS Noob.
Current System: TrueNAS Core 12.0-U8, FX 8370 on a ASUS TUF Sabretooth 990FX Rev 3 with 16GB of DDR3 @ 1600MHz. I have
Problem:
I have a Windows 10 VM that I run occasionally. I pass in a rear USB port into the VM for its primary functionality. The USB device is functional and works perfectly when passed through. If I turn on the VM and turn it off, it does not allow my entire NAS to turn off. The last thing I see when I have a monitor plugged into the NAS is "GEOM_MIRROR: Device swap0 destroyed". It hangs at this point indefinitely.
After removing the USB Port passed through via PCIe Passthrough, I can successfully shutdown down the VM and the NAS with 0 problems. This leads me to believe there is something amiss.
Step I have Taken:
I have updated my NAS from 12-U5 to 12-U8 and it is still occurring. I tried with different Passthrough devices, and the problem persists so its not specific to that USB port.
Suggestions? Thoughts? Solutions?
