I am looking for some assistance with setting up multiple LACP LAGGs and VLANs. My configuration is as follows:
FreeNAS version is latest stable build of 9.3
Dell C2100 with 2 onboard NICs and 2 Broadcom NICs from PCI Bus.
Management(Share) Network: NIC1 on each card 192.168.5.x(VLAN 115)
iSCSI Network: NIC0 on each card 192.168.1.x(VLAN110)
Switch ports on HP-1810g are trunked together as LACP already.

My process for the setup goes as follows(setup done via console):
Setup Management LAGG(LACP option)
Setup Management VLAN
Setup VLAN interface with IP
(At this point i can access the box via the web GUI)
Set option on LAGG to "up"
(Now i loose network connectivity and reboot and it comes back)

Now I go to setup the iSCSI VLAN with the exact same steps as above for the Management VLAN and I loose all network connectivity and have to delete everything and start over to regain access.

Are there any steps I'm missing or best practices I'm not following to get this working? Any input would be appreciated.

Is your LAGG on the switch tagged or untagged?

If the LAGG on the switch is untagged, you don't need to setup the vlan interface at the FreeNAS.

I think i figured out the issue. I was teaming two NICs that were not the same make(Broadcom and Intel) and my punitive mind didn't see anything wrong with this but as soon as i teamed the 2 NICs on the same card everything worked magically.
