Multiple Drives showing up as one on TrueNAS setup

Ok, so forgive me if this is really common knowledge here because I just got TrueNAS and don't really know how it works. But anyway, when you start the setup (as you know) you have to select the installation drive for TrueNAS, but for me when it comes to the drive selection screen, I see one drive available and realize the storage capacity is the combination of all my drives. Does anyone know why this is happening and how to fix it?

To be honest, I don't know a lot about the system although here is what I do know

Dual Processors each Quad-Core Xeon's
32 GB RAM (4 x 8gb)
3x 300 GB Hard drives

Ok I just found the controller in the server, but the problem is that if I remove it, there are no ports anywhere else in the server for me to connect the wires to. So now I don't know what to do.

Hi @herobrick360 - Welcome aboard. You will need to provide more hardware on your server. Take a look at the Forum Rules on what the members will be needing to assist you. There are a large number of very experienced folks here - but they need to have information. Take a look at the Resources. (There is a section there that tells you why you do not want to use hardware RAID.) Also take a look at Will it FreeNAS? - FreeNAS Build Discussion.

A couple of things to remember:

• There are things that you can do, and things that you should do. Of course you are free to do what you want, but the level of support drops when you are trying to do things that that you should not do.
• It is your data - The recommendations here help keep your data safe.
• One more - ZFS (or RAID, for that matter) is not backup!
