Recently, during a scrub test of a pool connected to the LSI 9200 HBA adapter (SAS2008), this message pops up. I tried to exchange the card for another, but still the same message. I tried to find the problem by error code, but the only thing I found was that FreeBSD has a problem with the internal driver.

Am I the only one who gets this error?

Alternatively, what is the solution?

Thank you

You need to have the correct firmware on your card. You do not. Look at any of the guides to flashing IT mode firmware on your card, and install 20.00.07.00.

My another card with 20.00.07.00 firmware.

Until I switched to TrueNAS, everything worked fine. Too bad I already have updated pools.

I'm not aware of any issues with TrueNAS that would result in this, seeing as how the driver is reporting as 21.02.00.00-fbsd, which works fine with FreeNAS. It's possible, of course, but seems more likely to be a hardware issue of some sort.

The other usual issues are cabling or card overheating. Do you have plentiful airflow moving over the card? These cards are designed for use in servers and expect significant front-to-back airflow over them.
