Hi, I was hoping I could ask some advice regarding my home FreeNAS 11.2 system.

I have too much stuff (drives, expansion cards) packed into way too small of a case and I just need to give my little system that grows and grows a new home.

Is there anything particular I should be careful of? The same motherboard and all is just moving to a new case, but in the event I attach an SATA cable to a different port, am I going to have problems?

no, attaching a sata cable to a different port won't worry FreeNAS / ZFS pools.

I have my original FreeNAS pool that is in it's 3rd box and 3rd way of being connected.

Assumed that was the case but better to be sure. Thank you!
