Moving Drives

I'm adding a SATA card that I know works with Freenas(already tried it) but what I want to do is move 2 of my 6 drives to that SATA card, do I need to do anything or will it take care of itself(GPTIDs)? Using FreeNAS-11.2-U4.

Which sata card? Would be good for the community to know because I don't think any actually work. Most people just use a hba because it's easy.

Oops, used the wrong language there. Several years ago I got a Dell PERC H310 RAID Controller Card, flashed it with IT firmware for use in another project and turned it into an HBA. Sorry for using the wrong terminology here.
