Movie does not play, it does not start

After installing freenas version FreeNAS-11.2-U4, made the proper settings. Plugins, The Plex media server system
1.15.4.993.
The movies added to the folder are found by Plex, but when I watch it is rotating the cursor but does not start the movie, all are in mkv format.
Any suggestion.
Because I have another plex installed with the older version of FreNAS and the Plex Media Server, which works normally.
Server Plex is on the same network.

Have you tried searching? I know some people had Plex install regularly and appear to be fine but then when anything needed to be transcoded, playback failed. This is due to permissions being set incorrectly. You could verify this by finding a movie format that whatever client you are using can play natively. If it plays back normally, then it is a transcoding/permission problem.

Thank you for using your time right now.
Where more specifically should I look into permissions, since the folders are being copied via network via windows / ip address.
Now another problem has appeared, after the restart of the server, the ip address of the server and the jail are different but it does not open the plex anymore, except that the 2 ips are pointing to the login of the freenas, and not opening the Media Plex anymore the service is up.

If there is more than one Ethernet controller in you system it is not necessary to cable more than one to your router.
Have you tried changing ownership of the mount points in your Plex jail?

1. Run ‘chown -R plex: plex /media’ on a command line to set ownership of the files (/media might be different depending on the mount points)

Can Plex find metadatas for the movies? If not then it's a similar problem with mine.

I finally solved it by entering plex server's own IP in network settings to this option:
List of IP addresses and networks that are allowed without auth

Thank you all for your help.
I just reinstalled the Media Server Plex.
Now it's working with another problem.
All movies have the same metadata as "The UP Series".
But the player is working with the correct movie. But when I add the external caption the movie does not work anymore.
I'm getting tired, I'm going to install an older version of Freenas, that everything worked before. Without too many complications.

If you are seeing incorrect metadata, then your underlying files are not likely named or structured correctly.
