Mounting smb shared media on a linux enigma 2 box problem

I have shared media mounted on 2 linux ubuntu machines from my FreeNAS box,which uses the zfs file system and it works as it should.

I also have a linux enigma 2 file system satellite box which I want to mount the shared media on, and view the files etc. I have mounted the said media or mount points on the satellite box using both AUTOFS and fstab (mount at boot), but the media is not viewable. The strange thing is that if I mount the shared media from one of my Linux Ubuntu machines, the media is viewable.

Could it be something to do with the file system of either the FreeNAS box or the satellite box as to why the media is not viewable.

Try enabling SMB1 support under Services->SMB.

I installed the miniDLNA service from the network utilities on the satellite box, and that allowed me to see the parent folders of the media, but that's all, no other sub folders nor files. I have looked for the same service in FreeNAS plugins but there is not installable listing now.
I enabled SMB1 support in SMB services, but that didn't appear to make any difference.

Update:
After selecting a different mount point from my FreeNAS shared media mounts: windowsmedia, the folders and files are now viewable.
Problem is now solved

I could not get this to work using SMB/CIFS i had to use NFS and it worked straight away without any issues.
