Hi there. New to FreeNas but willing to learn. So far I've got my first NAS up and running and so far it works pretty good on my Windows computers. However, when I try to mount them in my Linux computers, it asks me what the "Domain" is when it asks for "Password required for share MYNAME on freenas.local" When I log into it on Windows it doesn't ask for my domain, which is fine considering I don't remember ever setting that up when getting FreeNas up and running. If this is an easy fix, please excuse me - I'm new to networking. I searched the forums but couldn't really find anything.

The weird thing is is shows up in my Network folder (Linux Mint Cinnamon Current Release) just fine, I just don't know what it wants when it asks for the domain. I cannot leave it blank.

Thanks for any assistance.

The domain is set as WORKGROUP by default. I can't remember how I found it but its there. The problem was my password wasn't saved correctly. Pretty noob mistake.
