Mirror a WD Sharespace server onto FreeNAS

I mounted our old WDSharespace server in /media/wd and copied the data into our new server volume.

The problem is that some people are still using the old server.

I would like to update changes from the WD into FreeNAS, but not the other way around.

There is no rsync service on the WD, so I have been mounting it again and trying rsync, or just cp (noclobber) with poor / mixed results.

I have a feeling that there is a simple way to do this with the GUI that doesn't screw up permissions etc.

What is the best way to do this?

Go in at night, migrate everything across, fix user profiles, and take the old system down.
