minidlna wont start

hello everybodu I am a total noob just learned about freenas this week and I have download and installed it I have all my raids and everything setup I installed minidlna and all my monies are on my windows pc so I created the shares and I can get to them from my windows computer so I can put my movies on my freenas server andmy tv in my living room can see minidlna but I cant start the plugin I have tried then it said it had to be configured so I did that and now I click on the off button and it has the little blue loading thing next to it and then nothing happens it doesn't even say anything what do you guys think

MiniDLNA will be in a jail.. Once you have the media on the NAS and shared with the jail.. You configure minidlna to watch said directory and it will work.. Don't use spaces in your paths as that can break MiniDLNA.. You can observe what it scans in the jail's log "tail -f /var/log/minidlna.log" or go the ip/port of minidlna (http://JAILIP:8200/)

figured it out when I set the permissions on my volumes I had them set to windows instead of unix once I switched them to unix I was able to turn on minidlna
