Minidlna with 8.3.0 RC giving "could not determine realpath"

Hi Guys,

I just updated to the 8.3.0 RC after having issues with 8.2.0 with minidlna 1.0.22_3 with not showing content (seen workarounds but didnt work for my setup).

updated jail to 8.3.0-RC1-x86 and minidlna to 1.0.24_1. Minidlna is not starting. In the changelog it indicates:

Oct 7 21:28:16 freenas notifier: Starting minidlna.
Oct 7 21:28:16 freenas notifier: Could not determine realpath...: No such file or directory
Oct 7 21:28:16 freenas notifier: /etc/rc: WARNING: failed to start minidlna

The media directory is: /usr/pbi/minidlna-i386/media.

Anyone any ideas?

in my VM got the same error with RC1, but we can not blame anyone, the RC1 is not officially released yet so we can only wait ;)

This is known, that is why RC1 has not been officially released yet.
