Migrate from TRUENAS server to VMWARE ESXI

Hi Team,

We need your help to migrate my disks which are all under the true nas core , ( which got so much of data) .

Now I have disconnected my TRUENAS server and installed VMWARE ESXI using new disk and created Virtual machine for TRUENAS, ( i have not touched my truenas data) .

Now I need your help to move my old TRUENAS DISKS to new VMWARE TRUENAS .

as a initiative , i have connected on TRUENAS data disk into my new PC , tried to passthru the disk, but disk is not visible in TRUENAS DISK / POOL . But visible in VMWARE , but afraid of creating datastore which will cleanup my data.

Please help .

You need to pass through the disk controller for the drives to ESXi.
