Hi,

I just removed everything in the directory where the jails reside after changing the paths where to store them.
Neither can I now remove a specific jail / plugin, nor install the plugin I'd like to use.
When I try to remove the plugin it says "Error: Jail not found".

What can I do to fix that?

I think you should have deleted the plugins/jails, and that would have deleted the files for you.

I don't know enough about the jails system to know what sqlite file you need to edit but someone else might.

Details man! DETAILS!
this is from messages:
Mar 16 10:03:31 filer manage.py: [middleware.exceptions:38] [MiddlewareError: jail not found]

excerpt from debug.log
Mar 16 10:04:44 filer manage.py: [middleware.notifier:190] Executing: /usr/sbin/service ix-plugins forcestop owncloud_1:owncloud
Mar 16 10:04:44 filer manage.py: [middleware.notifier:204] Executed: /usr/sbin/service ix-plugins forcestop owncloud_1:owncloud; returned 0
I find nothing else that seems relevant to me in the debug.log

What else details can I provide you with?

What version of FreeNAS are you running?
Did you follow the manual when installing your plugins?
Your hardware specs might also be of use.
Where the plugins installed through the GUI?
OR, did you manually create the jails through the CLI?
The changes you made, were they done through the GUI or CLI?
And anything else that you think might help?

I'm using FreeNAS-9.3-STABLE-201503150158

What I tried to do is moving all the jails onto another Volume via command line "mv *..."
It did not work so I just changed the path where to store jails in the GUI and deleted everything in the filesystem "rm -rf *".
The plugins / jails were all installed via GUI.

This did work for every plugin/jail but one (i.e. owncloud).
This one still is listed as installed in the GUI, but it's actually not there any more.

What can I do to remove it finally?
Thank you!

Anybody?
I also doesn't seem to be able to setup new jails.
When I try it just says: "jail updated sucessfully"
But that created jail won't appear in the menu afterwards.

You can probably effort the SQL database and remove it but you would have to get all of it.
