Maximum Storage Capacity

Hi!

Whats the maximum storage capacity that FreeNAS can support? Assuming that the controller hardware is bumped up (say dual Xeon E5 processor with 256 GB RAM etc.) can it handle 300 TB capacity?

Valuable insights would be highly appreciated.

The main limitation is RAM, since you'll need lots of it. Otherwise, there's no limit (any processor that'll take enough RAM is fast enough).

The limit is something like 256 Zettabytes or something. Unless you are buying every disk Seagate manufacturers for a decade or two you won't hit the limit.
