Hello,
I will go to mount a FreeNAS with 10 x 3 tb HDDS, the system will be a AMD APU with A75 Chipset for HDDS, have a 6 SATAIII ports, i will need more 4 ports SATAIII, and after see in various websites, i find the Addonics http://www.addonics.com/products/ad2ms6gpx8.php with 8 SATAIII ports, with not RAID, perfect for me that will go to use a RAIZ Z.
I select AMD because of the performance for throughput for SATA ports, i have a other AMD APU system with 6 SATAII in chipset A55, and the performance is very very high, how copy via AFP around 125MB/sec in maximum velocity.
Well, i want to know if the this Marvell Chipset 88SE9480 is compatible out of box with freenas, i will to have SATAIII in the performance, and yet have a 4 extra ports for more HDDS in the future.
Best Regards
Sorry my english
