LSI 3008 IT firmware mismatch

Hi guys,

Last few days i am building my DIY home server.

I run it with a motherboard with a onboard HBA (LSI3008 on X11SSL-CF motherboard).
I just flashed the HBA to the P13 IT firmware, but according to FreeNAS it is a mismatch with the current version 12 driver.

Freenas warning:
WARNING: Jan. 14, 2017, 10:50 p.m. - Firmware version 13 does not match driver version 12 for /dev/mpr0. Please flash controller to P12 IT firmware.


So i have been googleing about what to do etc,
And i have to so say I am kinda confused right now.

Mainly because of this article:

Am i right that it has to mismatch by 1 driver version??? but shouldnt it be the other way around then.

I have the feeling that i have the exact same "thing" as with the last guy in this article:

Can someone please bring in some clarification?

I have same motherboard, running FreeNAS 9.10.1-U4. I am using P12 IT firmware without any complaints from FreeNAS. The supermicro site currently has the P13 version that you probably used, the P12 version can be found in the "previous releases" folder

Sadly, the link you send doesn't work though.

And it is very hard to hard to find the correct firmware.

I found LSI3008 P13 firmware somewhere (cant recall where).
So the firmware should be arround somewhere......
But when i search the broadcom site all i can find is this:

but that is without the 3008......

Do you have an idea where i can find them?

Hmm, the link works for me in Chrome. You can also go to the site via a ftp client if your browser isn't working.

That is possibly dangerous. You should use P11.
